November 4 - 8

MATH:

Student have a unit final in Powers on Friday, November 8^th. (delayed a day due to other conflicts and assignments) This week we are doing review. Students got back their math quizzes on Tuesday, November 5th so they have a better sense of what to focus on for their unit final. Students should have completed (and marked) all the questions in the powers unit in their math workbooks.

SCIENCE:
Tuesday, November 5^th will be the 10^th and final day of in class time to work on their space research projects. At this time, students should have at least 4 pages of rough notes they created something from as well as 8 good resources properly recorded. Rough notes are to be handed in with the completed assignments. Wednesday and Thursday (if students were at school) were bonus time to work on student projects or catch up on any unfinished assignments.

SOCIAL:
Students have been analyzing Political Cartoons and their assignment is to have 2 Canadian Political cartoon printed off and complete the worksheet that was handed out in class.  This is now for homework. Please check Power School for any missing assignments and hand them into the basket  for marking.
